LAS:eR is new hbz-service

From the 1st October 2019, the electronic resource management system LAS:eR is a service of hbz. The service is already used country-wide for subscription management by high school libraries and consortial leaders who have web-based access by the Software as a Servce (SaaS) model to the current version of the software and thus benefit from newly added features, comfort functions and ameliorations without additional installation effort.

The LAS:eR-Support-Team (laser_support@hbz-nrw.de) supports the participating institutions by trainings and documentations and is first contact by technical issues.

Optimised subscription management

Finally all information at one place LAS:eR permits the full management of e-ressources in one system including consortial and national subscriptions. All necessary license information like running time, price, access restrictions and interlibrary loan information are kept ready and managed centrally for consortial and national subscriptions.

Integriated access statistics

Keep the overview over the usage of your e-ressources LAS:eR offers with the integration of the national statistics server (Nationaler Statistikserver) access to the statistics of subscribed offers and enables further evaluation like cost per download analysis.

User LAS:eR as high quality source for your consortial subscriptions Open interfaces enable the introduction of data from LAS:eR in cloud-based library systems with ERM module and other third party systems.
